Your journey through space is not without special beacons left by a long-vanished civilization. Anachronox is the center of all communication routes. This artificially created planet is located inside the Great Sender, serving as the main beacon. The game's protagonist is Sly, a native Anachronox resident who has long dabbled in detective work. To tell you the truth, things were not going well, on the contrary, only causing a lot of problems, among which are debts. After his last encounter with the so-called "creditors," the main character escaped with moderate injuries. He's lucky to survive being thrown out of a window at all. Now Sly decides to find a more lucrative occupation to settle accounts with those to whom he owes. Fortunately, such an opportunity presents itself to him. He becomes part of a team of space travelers, flying from planet to planet, running all sorts of errands. While the gameplay is linear and the action is in real time, the battles with your opponents unfold in turn-based RPG-style, where you and your team go head-to-head against the enemy and mutually bludgeon each other. For the victory the player receives experience points and health and energy restorers.
