Dawn of Man is a strategy game set in a primitive society setting. This project was developed by Madruga Works, a team that gained some notoriety with the space simulator Planetbase. Now the developers decided to change the vector of their activity a little bit and take the player to the times of mammoths and saber-toothed tigers. The player will be put in charge of a primitive settlement. The beginning will be in the Stone Age, and the development of society will end ten thousand years later, when mankind entered the iron millennium. You, as the leader of the settlement, will have to deal with aspects of the development of your small community, ensuring the latter's maximum progress within the possibilities of the Stone Age. Starting scenarios in Dawn of Man vary, but survival conditions are always about the same, regardless of whether your initial settlement is located somewhere in the north where the cold rages, or in a mild but rainy climate zone, among the rocky mountains or near aggressive neighbors - each scenario has its challenges, pluses and minuses. The main factor of survival in the Stone Age was hunting, and this aspect did not bypass the game presented. You and your primitive settlement will have to take part in a hunt for mammoths, giant deer, saber-toothed tigers, ancient bison and other animals, some of which have become extinct as a species.
