Geometry Dash is a case where a seemingly insignificant game manages to create a really large community of fans. Here is a rhythmic arcade puzzle game with a lot of complex levels, where the gameplay represents the overcoming of various obstacles, playing the role of different creatures, starting with a square, ending with a dude sitting on top of a rocket. All the action takes place under the bouncy electronic music.

There is no plot in this rhythm arcade. Instead of a narrative, over two dozen levels are presented for sequential progression. Traditionally, each subsequent location on the level of difficulty is different from the previous. While the first stages may seem overly simple and challenging, closer to the middle of the game your keyboard, mouse or gamepad risks getting damaged due to the instability of your nervous system.

Geometry Dash has several characters, each offering a different style of gameplay. Cube, for example, can jump and move on a flat surface. The ship flies through the air, and this flight must be constantly maintained by pressing the appropriate button, or else it will fall and crash. The balloon can change gravity and roll both on the floor and on the ceiling.
