Impact Winter is a game about survival in the unbearably cold. The game's events are set in an alternate reality, where post-apocalyptic conditions prevail on planet Earth. Global cooling caused by planet's collision with space body. As a consequence, the global cold has wiped out a good half of the human race, and those who have managed to survive have formed groups and taken refuge in shelters. In this world there is no concept of statehood and laws of a civilized society, everybody survives as they can. The protagonist of the game is one Jacob Solomon, leader of one of the few surviving groups. With the help of a robot helper, the protagonist manages to pick up a radio signal and make contact with other survivors who are in a much better situation than his group. On the other end of the line Jacob and his wards promise to help with the evacuation, but to do this you must meet one single condition - to hold out for 30 days. After this time, a rescue team must reach his shelter, but will the protagonist and those around him survive? Actually, in the presented simulator, the player will have to be engaged in maintaining the life of the group by all available means. You will go on an expedition to the icy surface of the Earth in order to find something useful: medicines, provision, fuel, food. During your quest you will meet other survivors and encounter all kinds of difficulties and dangers. Cold in this game, although the main enemy, is not the only one.
