Killer7 is a straightforward action game released in 2005 by CAPCOM Japan, which established itself as a rather ambiguous, unconventional project. What makes it unique is that the visual style is in the style of comic books, and the story carries obvious psychedelic traits.

The story centers around an elderly assassin named Harmen Smith, who can't even stand up anymore since he is in a wheelchair. However, he is still considered the best at what he does. How is this possible?

The protagonist has superhuman, mystical powers and is able to create his clones, in real physical bodies. They are not exact copies of him and among Harmen's seven personalities, there is even a woman. They are all hitmen, together they are called Killer 7.

This team must eliminate a mad terrorist who also has special abilities - he can turn people into walking bombs. Terrorist attacks happen every single day and only Harmen and his personalities can stop this psychopath.

The members of the seven assassins themselves, are also essentially immortal. As long as Harmen Smith is alive, they are safe. Dead assassins can be brought back to life in their creator's room.

By defeating enemies, the player receives resources, which can then be exchanged for special abilities, such as increased damage, the ability to strike at enemies lying down, aiming in slow motion, etc.. The combat system is extremely simple: the whole process of interaction with the surrounding world is built by pressing one or two keys on the computer mouse.
