Lethe - Episode One tells the story of unremarkable journalist Robert Down, mentally broken by the recent death of his stepfather, who is also burdened with all his bank debts. Tired of everything, he decides to find out the secret of his origins by conducting a private investigation. Clues point to some kind of mining operations taking place on a remote island.

Once Robeth arrives in a small town where people make their living peacefully by mining, he manages to come into contact with an unearthly substance that has developed supernatural powers in him that literally feed off his life force. As the tension rises, the journalist encounters another, more threatening danger, turning an ordinary trip into a monstrous battle for survival.

Letha is a beautiful first-person view horror game in which you will have to explore an atmospheric and frightening world, uncovering the dark secrets of your past. The game has elaborate stealth mechanics that you cannot do without, and your psychokinetic abilities will allow you to manipulate any inorganic objects. There are several Episodes in the game, each of which is self-contained, and how the story in each one is constructed is entirely up to you.
