Metro Exodus is the sequel to the popular post-apocalyptic story starring a certain Artem. The events of the 2018 novel continue the plot of the previous action shooter Metro 2033 Ray of Hope, starting with the so-called "good ending," considered a canonical denouement of previous events. According to a local synopsis, all the action of the game will unfold in 2035 on the expanses of the Earth, living through the aftermath of a nuclear bombing that happened about 20 years ago. This time the protagonist together with rangers from "Sparta" leave borders of the Moscow subway on "Aurora" - the steam locomotive which has undergone significant modifications. The new Metro Exodus will please all fans of the franchise with many not so new, but tried and tested and brought to perfection aspects. For example, the developers from the Ukrainian studio 4A Games announced a huge open world. Admittedly, it is worth mentioning that the world will be partially free. That is, most of the action and plot twists are inevitable due to their scripted nature, but you will still get to wander through interesting locations in the upper world. You will not do it alone, but with several companions. The companions give you various hints as well as guiding you through the story and most importantly, they tell Artem the story of the Metro universe. While you will encounter some linearity in the open world, not with the satellites. Along with you on the Aurora will be traveling members of the Sparta group, each of whom is unique both in terms of character and destiny. You will have the ability to influence the situation and make choices in favor of one or another companion. In Metro Exodus, you will encounter such an element of gameplay as a role-playing system. There is a chance that there will be a merchant aboard the Aurora from whom you can buy new weapons or improvements to old ones, as well as gadgets and battle suits. As for the latter, the game will have a radiation suit, a stormtrooper suit and suits created from the skins of mutants.
