Never Let Me Awake is a psychological first person horror game. The story tells of a team of construction workers who have arrived in a remote part of town to begin work on demolishing abandoned buildings. You go exploring a house to see if it's abandoned or not. Once you get there, you will be called to various events in the depths of this house.

The gamer will find himself in a surreal world in which he will fight monsters, bloody creatures, or just run away from them and look for a way out of this crazy building. Users will meet a huge number of monsters, have to solve puzzles, interact with objects, listen to audio recordings and read various notes.

In Never Let Me Awake gamers will appear in a fabulous and horrifying world, in a different reality, in which they will only spend a small amount of time. There the protagonist will remember his past, and he will also see the monsters and different creatures with which he will have to fight.

The main character will have a flashlight in his left hand and use his right hand to open doors, pick up objects, push open crates. You have to hide from creatures if you notice them, such as under tables, behind cupboards or other objects.
