Neverwinter Nights 2 follows blindly the canonical rules of the eponymous "board game". It includes huge dungeons full of monsters, traps, and treasure. In place and epic plot, according to which, a group of brave heroes goes on a dangerous and exciting adventure, to fight the forces of evil, to seek fame and fortune. In the same company coexist thief, warrior, priest and mage, and each of them in his own way good. The second part of Neverwinter Nights, unlike its spiritual mentor, from a graphical point of view looks really luxurious and stunning. At least that was the case in the unreleased year 2006, when the sequel was released. Forests, mountains, seas, cities, caves, tombs - each new area could be admired for literally hours. At just the right moment, the camera is then showing local beauty, then focusing solely on the battlefield, and in dialogues it provides a close-up view so the player can see how the characters' facial expressions change as they negotiate. The sense of gameplay has not changed at all. Just as in the previous game in the series, we have to explore the vast dungeons in search of treasure, to pump up the characters for the experience gained in battle, and dozens of different tasks. The main difference between the sequel and the first game is the presence of three companions instead of one, and it is much easier to control them. Battles, in turn, unfold in real time, but the game also features a tactical pause that can be used to turn the outcome of almost any battle in your favor.
