It is hard to believe, but Penumbra 4: Necrologue is not the official sequel to one of the most atmospheric survival horror games, but a mod created by independent fans. It continues the main canvass, blending harmoniously into the narrative. The protagonist, Philip, wakes up after being stunned by a strange creature in the prequel. The vaccine didn't work, and Kevin, the inner voice in the hero's head caused by the virus spreading, is still gloating.

Annabelle comes in next. As it turns out, she didn't die, and she didn't meet Philip at all; all he saw were the shenanigans of an inflamed mind. Now the man is facing several goals: to deal with the infection, not to lose your mind and to wait for the rescue expedition, which was sent for him.

First Person Review. Basic aspects of gameplay remain unchanged: the user searches for items and escapes from monsters, advances through corridors and solves puzzles.
