Rise to Ruins Download PC Game

Rise to Ruins is an archaic strategy game released in 2016 by developers from Raymond Doerr. Visually, the game is close to the classic Civilization series. Apparently, the developers were inspired by these legendary strategy games and used many of their ideas.

The first thing you notice when you first load up Rise to Ruins is its graphics. You can't call it good. The only thing it looks like is probably the computer's microboard. Mountains, rivers, lakes, forests, cities - all very similar to what we can see when we look at one of these micro boards, holding it in our hands. Pixel drawing can also scare away modern casual fans to spend their free time playing computer video games.

But that's not the point of this indie strategy. Also, Rise to Ruins, can safely be called a simulation of a village located in extreme conditions, surrounded by solid dangers. The possibility of such an outcome of events that immediately after the start of the game, no stone is left of your village, is very high, and therefore, the process of reloading the action will occur more often than you might expect. This contrived hardcore is the main reason behind the game.

Player is given the right to feel like a king of his own little world, to protect, equip, search for resources - all in real life, some proprietor's prince somewhere in Eastern Europe, at the turn of the first millennium. But, if the hardcore survival mode of a tiny civilization isn't for you, there's always the option to dive into the fascinating micro-world of the sandbox, where you'll control almost every process that affects the development of the village.
