Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD is a re-release of the famous skater simulator that includes all the most successful gameplay features and the most popular levels. In the game you can make truly dizzying tricks, earn special points and set new records. Unfortunately you can't create your own character, but you can play as famous skateboarders such as Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen, Elissa Steamer, Eric Causton, Andrew Reynolds, and other important personalities in the skateboarding world. As mentioned above, the re-release presented is an aggregation of all the most successful aspects from the three previous parts that came out more than 10 years ago. One of the main components are levels. There are 7 zones in total in the game, and you can skateboard within such popular locations as Warehouse, School 2, Trade Center, Hangar, Venice, Marseille, and Phoenix Downhill Jam. It is worth noting that each of these areas is an exact replica of the original levels from ten years ago. The latest addition to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD adds three new areas: Airport, Los Angeles and Canada. As before, to complete the current level and advance to a new level, the player must complete one of several assigned tasks. It might be collecting the word SKATE from the letters randomly scattered around the location, performing a super difficult trick, or searching for hidden DVDs. The game has a special map, the so-called GAP LIST, which contains the marks of the letters and discs you are looking for. By performing continuous combinations of tricks, the user will be able to earn additional points. Skate, as well as various improvements to it, can be purchased in a virtual store for dollars.
